ARE YOU A HUMAN BEING OR A HUMAN DOING?
How are you doing ?
I wonder if you're feel refreshed, at peace and reconnected as the summer draws towards autumn - or perhaps you're feeling quite the opposite! Either way, I hope that this reaches you just at the right time, and provides you with a loving pause, however you're feeling right now.
Taking time for oneself... Sounds simple, doesn't it? Hmm, not always so easy to do though. There is always so much to think about, so much to do. But the thing is, taking time to be with ourselves each day is perhaps the single most important thing we can do, because we only have this moment, right now, to be truly present, to be truly alive. So I suppose the question we need to ask ourselves is:
Do you want to be a human being... or a human doing...?
Spending more time in the being, rather than the doing, enables us to see the world around us in full colour. It allows us to tune into our quiet inner voice, to feel more deeply and focus more clearly. And all this can come from taking just a few minutes each day to simply be with ourselves. I recorded a very short video on this.
